STEMWORKS - K'NEX Bridges:

This hands-on workshop offers a fantastic opportunity for young inventors to dive into creative engineering and smart design. Participants will design and build their own K'NEX bridge and bring it to life using real coding skills. They'll use motors, sensors, and computer control to make their bridge open and close on command, complete with flashing lights, sound effects, and custom signals.

Highlights include:

• A bridge-building challenge that encourages teamwork

• Programming the bridge to move using block-based coding

• Adding sirens, signals, and light displays for extra flair

• Exploring how engineering meets everyday innovation

This workshop is perfect for budding programmers and curious creators alike, blending STEM magic with mechanical movement powered by imagination and technology.

A delicious lunch will be provided each day. Children should bring a morning and afternoon snack (no nuts or snacks that may contain nuts) and a water bottle.
